Representative transactions include:

  • Acting as local counsel for the Government of Tanzania in connection with the development and financing of the World Bank-funded 385 MW Ruhudji Hydropower Project.
  • Advising US corporation on setting up operations in Tanzania in connection with construction contract for power transmission facilities in Tanzania.
  • Advising Sumitomo Corporation on setting up a gas power plant in Tanzania.
  • Acting for Kenya Commercial Bank, KCB Tanzania and I&M Bank on a USD38 million syndicated project finance facility for Lake Cement Tanzania Limited.
