A&K is delighted to have acted for Africa-focused private equity firm Emerging Capital Partners (ECP) in connection with its acquisition of a majority stake in Kenyan restaurant chain Artcaffe Group. A&K was a key legal advisor to ECP alongside its other local and international advisors in the transaction that was announced on Wednesday, 19 December.

Last year, A&K assisted also ECP on the exit of its investment in Java Coffee House.
