Legal Alert | Kenya | The Finance Bill 2018: The Impact of Proposed Measures

The Finance Bill, 2018 (the Bill) has now been published, following the reading of the Budget Statement for the financial year 2018/19 by the Cabinet Secretary for the National Treasury. The Bill seeks to introduce various proposed amendments to the tax regime.

It should be noted that pursuant to the Provisional Collection of Taxes and Duties Act, some provisions of the Bill will come into force on 1 July 2018.
