ALN Kenya|Anajrwalla & Khanna (A&K) is delighted to have received the “Law Firm of the Year – Large Practice” award at the African Legal Awards 2020 during a virtual award ceremony hosted by Legal Week and the Corporate Counsel Association of South Africa on 17 September. This is the fifth time that the firm is receiving this coveted award since they were launched in 2013 in celebration of excellence, achievement and innovation from within Africa’s legal community. We have previously won the African Law Firm of the Year – Large Practice in 2013, 2015, 2016 and 2017.
A&K was also in the final line-up in 10 categories and was highly commended by the African Legal Awards for the CSR, Diversity, Transformation and Economic Empowerment Award and the Innovation- Firm award. The other shortlisted categories included:
In his online acceptance speech at the awards, A&K Managing Partner Anjarwalla & Khanna spoke of these achievements as part of a “… journey which began 15 years ago in [A&K’s] pursuit for integrating legal services across the continent [through ALN]. We are passionate about the idea of bringing rule of law and highest quality legal services to our continent – grown from Africa and going out to the world.”

The African Legal Awards are judged by an independent panel comprised of senior and innovative individuals drawn from the legal world. To win this award, firms need to demonstrate the setting of new standards in the delivery of legal services and a market-leading position.
