ALN hosted its key clients based in Europe, at a cocktail reception to celebrate its recent expansion into several countries in Africa on 12 September 2017 at Hôtel Le Bristol in Paris, France. Dr. Cheick Modibo Diarra, ALN Chairman, Karim S. Anjarwalla, Managing Partner, Anjarwalla & Khanna and Salimatou Diallo, Partner, SD Avocats said a few words about ALN and the new members.
In his welcome speech, Dr. Diarra highlighted ALN’s commitment to respond to the growing demand for legal services by clients based in Europe, and especially Paris, who are working across the African continent. “I am very proud of ALN and all it stands for. We seek to remain in the lead as an independent, integrated legal alliance on the continent and we have big plans for how we can support the growth of the continent,” Dr. Diarra noted.
In the past year, ALN has welcomed six new firms in Morocco (BFR & Associés), Algeria (Bourabiat Associés), Guinea (SD Avocats), Madagascar (Madagascar Law Offices), Mozambique (ABCC) and Botswana (Desai Law Group), establishing presence in across sixteen African countries.
