The 2016 conference brought together a mix of distinguished opinion leaders and influential investors from Africa, Middle East, Europe, Americas and Asia. The conference featured ‘Lions on the move II: Realizing the potential of Africa’s economies’, a presentation by McKinsey of the sequel to McKinsey’s ground-breaking 2010 report on Africa’s economies.
The 2015 conference held at the Park Hyatt Dubai in October was graced by dignitaries across different countries including His Excellency Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan of the UAE, a delegation of senior officials from the Judiciary of Zambia, led by the Chief Justice, Hon. Justice Madam Irene Mambilima and Kenya’s Solicitor General, Mr. Njee Muturi.
This inaugural conference was established with the aim of bringing together ALN’s client base, together with its members, to discuss the sectors and regions in Africa providing the greatest opportunities for foreign investors across the Gulf region, against the backdrop of the UAE fast becoming one of Africa’s leading investment partners, and serving as a hub of a great deal of investment interest.
