Africa Bulletin November 2021 | ALN Kenya Listed on BCCK’s 2021 Integrity Index

ALN Kenya has been listed as a company committed to integrity in the inaugural 2021 Integrity Index by the British Chamber of Commerce Kenya (BCCK).

Launched in 2019 by the UK Department for International Trade (DIT) and the UK Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO), the Business Integrity Initiative (BII)’s Integrity Index is a list of Kenyan businesses ‘who are committed to integrity and have a track record of working ethically…and who embrace our () integrity principles’.

ALN Kenya is, and always has been committed to the BII’s six integrity principles:

  1. Proportionate procedures
  2. Top level commitment
  3. Risk assessment
  4. Due diligence
  5. Communication and training
  6. Monitoring and review

The Index features companies based in Kenya, that have a proven track record in working with integrity with multinational organisations and British Chamber of Commerce (BCCK) members. For us, this is hugely important recognition for the work we have done to build upon our own founding principles of excellence, collaboration and trust.

“We are mindful that the way we do business is judged through both a domestic and an international lens and adhering to the highest standards of business behaviour is at the core of what we do. As such, we understand that guiding our employees on how to conduct themselves with integrity can be a key differentiator in our competitive market,” notes Roddy, Director in the Corporate department at ALN Kenya.

As ALN continues its commitment to ethical business procedures, culture and training across the entire alliance, we will no doubt reap the long-term benefit of our efforts, through bolstered opportunities in international partnerships, for example.

Managing Partner Karim Anjarwalla added; “At ALN Kenya, we are extremely proud of the work we do. We value our reputation and in keeping with our values, we strive to uncompromisingly meet the highest standards of personal and professional ethical conduct and integrity in everything that we do while upholding the rule of law.”
