Africa remains the leading FDI destination globally, and with her economies abuzz with old and new opportunities, it undoubtedly remains a “hot” investment destination.
The continent continues to make significant advancements in various sectors such as oil & gas, infrastructure, financial services, agribusiness as well as technology and telecommunications. The UAE on the other hand, is becoming one of Africa’s leading investment partners, accounting for 6% of total FDI into Africa in 2014, serving as a hub of a great deal of investment interest.
It is against this backdrop that ALN’s ‘Bridging the Gulf’ conferences were established with the aim of bring together ALN’s client base, together with its members, to discuss the sectors and regions in Africa that provide the greatest opportunities for foreign investors across the Gulf region. Our members draw upon our deep knowledge of Africa, to add value to the conversations and help in providing solutions to the various challenges faced when doing business on the African continent.
