Africa is on the rise and taking its unique place as the continent of great opportunities. Indeed, Africa has some of the fastest growing economies in the world. This positive economic outlook does not just inspire hope in us at ALN, it also reminds us of the incredible potential this continent possesses.  As the largest grouping of top-rated African law firms, we relish our part to help Africa stride towards its place as a continent of great opportunities   Under the leadership of our Chairman, Dr. Cheick Modibo Diarra, who is a leader in the business and civic community on the continent, we recognize more than ever, the enormous significance of the role our organization can play in taking bold and deliberate steps to make positive contributions to the “communities” around us. To this end, our CSR Programme covers activities ranging from Economic Empowerment, Health and Capacity Building.

Some of our current CSR initiatives include:

Partnership with A4ID: ALN and A4ID have developed a partnership, whereby ALN lawyers provide pro-bono services to A4ID’s partner organisations. The pro bono advice is given to organisations who are working to eradicate poverty in Africa.

Partnership with TrustLaw: ALN is a member of the TrustLaw network, Thomson Reuters Foundation’s global pro bono legal programme which connects the best law firms and corporate legal teams around the world with high-impact NGOs and social enterprises working to create social and environmental change. The programme produces groundbreaking legal research, and offer innovative training courses worldwide.
